Italian pianist at St. Anastasia

SAINT AUGUSTINE – Italian born pianist Pietro Iannotti will perform a concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

A graduate of the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome and winner of numerous national and international piano competitions, Iannotti’s performance will include Beethoven: Sonata op 8 no 13 “Pathetique”, Chopin: Scherzo no 1 in B minor, Scherzo no 2 in B flat minor, Chopin: Polonaise op 53 “Heroic” and Liszt: Tarantella.

The church’s 10th concert series continues at 7 p.m. on Nov. 16 with Barbara VanRysdam & Friends in a charity concert supporting Operation New Hope. This event will take place in Celebration Hall on the church campus. There is a $10 door charge for this benefit performance.
