Dec.10 deadline for lighting contest

SAINT AUGUSTINE   – The Pilot Club of St. Augustine is sponsoring a holiday outdoor lighting contest for Davis Shores and St. Augustine Beach, with $250 in prizes.

Categories include FLP Darling – $100; Best Use of White Lights, Best Use of Colored Lights and Best Use of Animation – $50 each.

Entries will be accepted from Nov. 18 to Dec. 10, with a $20 entry fee requested.

Judging will be conducted Dec. 11 and 12, with an awards ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at St. Augustine Beach City Hall.
Entries must include category, name and address of entry, phone number. Individuals must be registered and submit the $20 fee to be considered.
