Question about grapefruit trees
Q: I have a grapefruit tree that has not set fruit for the last two years. What can I do for it?
A: Look for blooms in March or April. If flowers are produced but no fruit sets, it is usually a question of a late freeze or that bees did not pollinate your tree. There are certain plants that attract bees and these can be planted to increase pollination.
Q: I have an prange tree with black mrks and the fruit is small. What can I spray the tree with?
A”: If the black can be rubbed off it is sooty mold. Spray the tree with a soap spray or malathion.
