Virtual event winners named
PONTE VEDRA BEACH – The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach announces the winners of its first virtual exhibition. The exhibition, entitled “Virtual Spring Exhibition” focuses on new works being developed by artists while home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Artwork is available for sale to benefit both the artists and exhibitions at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach. The exhibition will be held during the months of May and June.
The Spring Virtual Exhibition was juried by New York based artist, Ashley G. Garner.

“All of the submissions were incredibly inspiring to go through. Seeing what artists are creating while in this dark and confusing time really does remind you that art and creativity never can be silenced. My selections were difficult to make as there were so many amazing pieces submitted. I would like to give an honorable mention to Carol Rollick and her beautiful submissions reminding us of the bountiful and whimsical beauty in our natural world, as well as Douglas Johnson for his paintings showing a subdued sense of peace and deep contemplation in social distancing. “

Winners included: First place – “Masks,” Deming Harriman; second – “Cheryl’s Garden,” Patrick Mahoney; third – “Infinite Supreme Benevolence in Times of Limited Vision,” Susanne Schuenke.
