Keeping the squirrels away

Q. Something eats the buds off of my roses. What is doing this?

 A. Depending on where you live, the culprit could be deer or squirrels.

 Q. The squirrels are eating my bulbs. How can I get rid of them?

 A.  If the bulbs are in a mass planting, you might be able to place chicken wire over them. This will allow the stem to grow through but prevent digging by the squirrels.
